- I can balance my computer time with other positive elements in my life such as family time, reading, recreation and work, etc.
- I can continue to enjoy other things, people and activities in my life.
We are learning how to balance our screen time. While electronics help us everyday it is important to also spend time with those around us and to spend time exercising and doing other things we enjoy.

I am excited to meet all my new students coming in and get the year started. I know that we have an amazing year together.
This week 2W has been learning about positive relationships with others. In particular we have learned how others can impact us. Using the zones and seven habits we first came up with words and actions that can impact us! We thought about all the things that we feel and enjoy doing when we are in the Green Zone We learned how words and feelings can hurt our hearts, and even when we apologize things won't be exactly the same. We couldn't un-crumple our hearts completely after the hurtful things were said. Finally we came up with ways to be proactive and help others so that we don't crumple someone else's heart either through conflict or bullying and ways we can help others feel safe both in the classroom and on the playground. Our proactive strategies were written on orange paper and surrounds our crumpled hearts in a chain to show that together we promise to take care of each other. These are some important dates that we have coming up in the next couple of months!
